In our equipment portfolio we supply the following client operated dredging equipments. These units are operated by either the ROV, divers, crane or by a combination of the mentioned.

The Standalone dredge's ejector system is identical to the successful system used on the Scanmachine, which is pre-rigged on a certified lifting frame. The Standalone dredge solution offers real versatility, making it suitable for operations fewer limited requirements in terms of dredging tolerances (high tolerances would always favourize the subsea excavator configured with the subsea navigation system).
Operated by ROV, diver and/or vessel crane, it has proven its unique ability in a range of underwater construction assignments worldwide. ROV operations are normally supplied with the ScanArm to avoid damage to the ROV’s standard manipulator and to improve its operational efficiency. These are available on request.
Scanmudring technicians comes with the Standalone dredge, number of crew pending on project requirements. However, please note that the performance of the Standalone Dedge is highly depending on the ROV pilot’s nozzle handling performance and environmental factors like visibility, currents and access for dredging.
The ROV Dredge system is an advanced add-on dredging kit that can be used on most common Work Class ROVs. The system is assembled, operated, maintained offshore and dismounted by the customer’s ROV-team.
Assembly is straightforward, with the ejector mounted onto the WROV and the suction nozzle connected to the ROV-manipulator arm. The ejector is powered with water pumps connected to WROV’s hydraulic power outlet.
A Scanmudring technician is included as an option during familiarisation or offshore for operational guidance and maintenance support. We recommend the ScanArm for the most efficient manouvring and to limit the wear and tear on the ROV-manipulater arm.
The reliable deep water solution utilizes subsea hot-stab for hydraulic power, interfacing the grab to the ROV at operational depth. No further power or signal transfer to the surface is required. The Orange Peel Grab is supplied and operated through two long hydraulic hoses, allowing the ROV to observe the operation from safe distance. Buoyancy keeps the hose configuration safely out of harm’s way.
