The Scanmachine subsea excavator and tool-carrier systems are based on modified excavators with quick connection interface to various hydralic tools.
Scanmudring’s services are as flexible as the challenges our customers face, and despite 30 years in business, new tooling are still being designed and produced to meet project specific requirements.
2m3 grab for use on the 40Te Excavator has proven successfull for removal of large volumes of rock.
The Scanmachine can be fitted with a drilling rig to perform drilling in rock subsea.
Used with grate success in solid rock (>150MPa) at 350m water depth. Capable of reaching tight areas due to the long teeth and narrow shape.
Tool for fine-tuning the seabed prior to installation of GBS foundations. Achievable tolerances down to +/- 3cm
Relocating objects by ripping it in pieces prior to suction or simply dragging it away; e.g concrecte mattresses and grout. The scanripper can also be used to make trench in stiff/hard materials.
Tool for trenching and excavating in hard material from clay to bed rock . Also efficient for demolition of concrete structures including steel. Technical sheet here
Special suction nozzle developed for high tolerance leveling. Hook on gripper for relocation of sand bags.
Dragflow heavy duty cutter head used in combination with ejector is a very effective tool in hard soil up to 500 kpa. Teeth are soil specific, and a jetting ring is built in to cutter head.
A 65kW cutter drum for subsea use in hard soils up to 45mpa, developed in cooperation with C-core, Erkat and Scanmudring. It may also be used to increase dredging capasity in stiff/sticky clay and to achieve high level tolerances.
Ripper on suction nozzle
Tool used to brake exstreme hard material like grout and rock.
Often preferred near live assets to loosen hard soil (avoiding contact to producing pipelines).
Grinding wheel for subsea cutting, mountet and handled by the Scanmachine.
Effectively used on hard clay by slicing the clay in layers while feeding the suction nozzle.
Bucket with gripper.
Levelling buck with rotor and tilt unit.
Levelling bucket with suction for the most efficient soil removal and for high tolerance leveling.
A dozer-mounted winch used in collaboration with a ROV/Diver to winch large objects subsea like concrete mattresses and debris.
To deal with requirement of maximum heap height, it is recommended to use an exhaust system "cannon" at the end of the exhaust hose.
For subsea connection of long distance exhaust hoses. Launch and recovery by crane, handled and relocated by ROV.
Closed bucket for removal of toxic waste, with no spill. The bucket is designed to fit with the spesial closed subsea soil containers.
